Last build of the year -- Giant AC-1 (6th AC of 2009)
You know it's a fan-favorite when I average an AC-1 every other month of the year. Alas, here is my final build of 2009 - a mint 2002 Giant AC-1. Gotta love them; definately a top-ten all-time AM bike.

Rocky Mountain Slayer -- gotta love the RM's!
Of all the bike brands in all the universe, Rocky Mountain is my favorite. I swear by it -- just take a look at my ETSX! This Slayer proves my loyalty; it's an amazing bike, and looks pretty sweet to boot.

Deja Vu of the Fan-Favorite
It's rare that I find the identical frame twice in the same week; in fact, it's never happened ... until now. Feast your eyes upon the second 2003 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp of the week -- with slight modifications to the previous (notably, the shock and frame size).

1999 Trek OCLV Y-Superlite -- COLLECTOR'S GEM
You've seen him on television; the 'It's Mesquite' guy. Well, he owns half of Mesquite, and he's rich. So, no surprise that back in 1998 he would have purchased this custom-built Trek Y-Superlite ... and no surprise he would have never riden it. I was able to snag this puppy from the good guys over at Go-Ride (on 33rd and 4th), whom were selling it for him. As they told me, he's one of their 'VIP' customers that they'd do, well, something like this for. After playing around with it, I'm reintroducing it to the world. Feast your eyes on a collector's dream in MINT condition:

Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp -- Fan-Favorite!
Specialized might not have the 'sex' appeal that true biking fanatics crave, but it certainly has the brand-loyalty. The FSR design is over 10-years old, and it still one of the best out there! This FSR Comp is no acception..

Tomac Revolver - one sexy machine
I don't think I'll even describe this one; I'll simply post the pics and let you marvel at it's sexiness - full-XTR, Fox Float, Thomson Elite, etc. -- you get the picture.

Santa Cruz Bullit -- Lookin' Good!
Whenever you hear the phrase 'Santa Cruz Bullit', the first thing to come to your mind should be amazing quality. This Bullit is no acception.
Felt's EPO -- the scandium hardtail of the century
The Felt EPO is a collector's item; it's made from scandium and carbon fiber, making it ultra-lightweight and ultra-sexy. I bought this frame from the guy who designed it in Southern California. It was designed for super-fast cross-country racing. Now it's time to part wit the frame -- 3 pounds, exactly!

The sexiest Giant AC-1 I've ever built (#8)
I was able to purchase a Giant AC-1 frame from a guy in South Carolina who stripped it down and powder-coated it in the stainless-steal finish that I love. The addition of the shiny stainless-steel appeal of the Bomber X-Fly in the front along with full-XTR componentry really makes this kitten purr.

My new(er) and improved (upon) baby: the ETSX
Having pimped out Brigitte's ride with some of the components off of my baby, I was left needing more...XTR. Good thing I had some 2009 XTR 970 components lying around...as well as some XT/Mavic Tubeless wheels and 8" rotors. And what do you get when you throw them on a customized ETSX? See for yourself ...

The new build: Santa Cruz Super 8 -- a BEAST!
If you've ever seen videos of guys flying down Mammoth Mountain or Snowbasin or Whistler at 60+ mph on a mountain bike, you've probably told yourself 'those guys are insane' ... and you'd be right. The bikes they do it on are even more crazy: just imagine a dirt-bike without a motor, and that's what they are. Well, here's my new build-up: a 2001 Santa Cruz Super 8. It's probably the burliest and beefiest bike I've ever owned, which says something, since I've built over 600 bikes to date. Check it out:

another sale ... at 6:40 in the morning
You make a sale when you can make a sale, even if it's at 6:40 in the morning (and this morning was COLD!). I sent the Kona Stinky Deelux packing this morning... Not bad. It freed up some funds for my new purchase (coming in about 3 hours) - - a GT DHi Race. :-) Ate Mais, Kona!

The Epic is History, literally ...
Yesterday I acquired a Specialized Epic. Today, the Epic has already changed hands. I had it for less than 24-hours. I swapped out the wheels, the brakes, the bottom bracket and the front fork.
