Ellsworth Truth SST.2
Have you been searching for a brand-new Ellsworth Truth SST.2 with a Fox Float 831, a Kashima CTD, Iodine wheels, XTR throughout and a FACTORY WARRANTY, but simply can’t afford $8,000? Well, look no further.
You are looking at a 2013 19” (L) Ellsworth Truth SST.2 in Nickel finish; this is the ultimate racing machine. The frame is brand-new, fresh out of the box, and includes the factory 2-year warranty. Anex Bicycles is an authorized Ellsworth dealer: I build and sell a mix of brand-new and used Ellsworth’s, in addition to just about any other bike you can imagine. This particular Truth has a mixture of new and used parts throughout: the condition may vary on specific parts, but overall, it’s an amazing ride. If you’d like a comparison, feel free to check out the Ellsworth Outlet store right now and see just how much you’d pay for this same bike with brand-new XTR throughout: $7,795.
Here are the links: http://www.ellsworthbikes.com/bikes/mountain/truth%20sst.2/
And: http://store.ellsworthbikes.com/customkititems.asp?kc=CB-13069&eq=
The parts that matter are listed below; unless you see “BRAND-NEW”, the parts are used:
- 2013 18” (Medium) Ellsworth Truth SST.2 aluminum frameset, 26” wheel-base (BRAND-NEW)
- 2013 Fox Float CTD BoostValve w/ Kashima Coating rear shock (BRAND-NEW)
- 2011 Fox RL 140 w/ 831 internals: rebuilt last week, so there's still a little oil around the seals. No miles on the rebuild.
- Crank Brothers Iodine 15mm wheelset
- Shimano XTR carbon 9-speed rear derailleur
- Shimano XT 3-speed front derailleur
- Shimano XTR 9-speed rapid-fire shifters
- Shimano XTR integrated crankset
- Shimano XTR 9-speed titanium cassette
- Avid Elixir 7 hydraulic disc brakes
- Specialized S-Works carbon riserbar
- Loaded seatpost
- Specialized Toupe Hollow Ti racing saddle
- Zipp stem
- Ergon GP-1 ergonomic grips
- Pedals of your choice (Flats, SPD, Crank Brothers, Time, etc.)
If you were to add up the retail value of this bike, you'd be well over the $7,500 mark. The frame alone is retailed at $2,999. The wheels alone retail for $1,799. You get the picture: this is NOT your average mountain bike.

The Ellsworth Trip
Over the last 7-days, I have traveled quite a bit. Make that 2,102 miles, to be exact. My travels took me from San Diego and Los Angeles to Moab and St. George. Obviously, the California locals were for business, while the Utah locals were for pleasure (if you can believe that). Most importantly, I sealed the deal with Ellsworth Handcrafted Bicycles: I have created and will manage their trade-in program, which will be known as the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program. Anex has taken a big step forward!
Here are a few pics from the trip.
