Yeti 575 AS-R Long Travel

This is a 19" (Large) 2007 Yeti 575 AS-R Long-Travel; an oldie but very goodie.  This is one of the lighter and faster all-mountain bikes ever made (when it came out, that is).  It has a Vanilla R 160 up front and a DHX 5.0 Air in the back with 150mm of travel.  If 26" doesn't scare you away, then you know this bike is very capable.  The rear shock's compression needs a servicing; rebound works but Pro-Pedal isn't.

The highlights:

- 19" (Large) Yeti 575 AS-R Long-Travel aluminum frame
- Fox Vanilla R 160 front fork
- Fox DHX 5.0 Ar rear shock (compression needs servicing)
- Sun / WTB disc wheels (26")

Evil The Following V1 Carbon

This is a 19" (Large) 2016 carbon Evil The Following V1 in good shape -- ridden, as the pictures will show, but still solid.  There's some rubbing along the frame from some chain rub and tire rub, along with a top-coat crack in the red paint (barely visible in the picture of the tire rubbing of the rear tire), but it's not a structural crack -- just cosmetic.  I've pushed on it time and time again - no movement. The condition of the bike is reflected in the price.  Color is sexy orange...awesome.

The highlights:

- 19" (Large) 2016 Evil Following carbon frame
- Fox Factory 34 Kashima Float FIT 4 front fork

CycleLogix Race Roadie

This is a 54cm CycleLogix carbon road bike; CycleLogix was a brand that started up right here in Boise -- then went under.  They built great bikes that are SERIOUSLY light-weight and solid; this is the second one I've owned.  It's FULL Shimano Ultegra 11-speed (shifters, derailleurs, brakes, crankset, cassette), with Mavic Ksyrium SL 11-speed clinchers, and a carbon bar and carbon seatpost.  If this bike said Specialized Tarmac or Trek Madone on it, you'd pay twice as much.  So, for the value -- it's just that.  A stupid-good value.

Here's a little more about the brand: http://cyclelogixbikes.tumblr.com/

The highlights:

- 54cm carbon frame
- Carbon fork
- Mavic Ksyrium SL clinchers (stupid light)
- Carbon seat-post

- Shimano Ultegra brakes

Schwinn Straight-Six

This is one of the most rare bikes you'll see -- especially built as it is. This is my custom-made 2000 Schwinn Straight Six, extra-small (14" center-to-top). I built this for my wife (5'1"), but recently found an XS Niner, and there's no need for two bikes that never get ridden. ;-)

If you're unaware of what the Straight 6 was: it was designed by Mert Lawwill, in partnership with Yeti, back in the late 90's. Enough said.

Then you have the fork; a Maverick DUC 32. This was designed by Paul Turner, the co-founder of Rock Shox (as opposed to Dave Turner, the Turner Bikes guy). This is a cult-brand and a cult-fork; I love them. They're incredibly light, inverted, and 150mm of smooth (by 2005 standards) adjustable and lock-able travel.

Then you have the wheels; early-era Reynolds carbons on DT Swiss 240s and Bontrager hubs.

Throw in the rest (modern drivetrain, XT brakes, etc.) and you have a piece of history modified for current/modern riding. And before you poo-poo the 26", realize that finding anything modern to fit a 5'1" female is pretty much impossible. I've put 27.5's onto our 14" XS Niner Jet 9 RDO and it's still too big for my wife. The reality is, at that height, you either go 26" -- or 24". Take your pick!

So, the highlights:

- 14" (Extra-Small) 2000 Schwinn Straight 6 aluminum frame
- 2005 Maverick DUC 32 front fork
- Rock Shox Super-Deluxe rear coil shock
- Reynolds Carbon 26" wheels on DT Swiss 240s rear hub (Bontrager proprietary front hub)
- Shimano XT 1x11 rear derailleur
- Shimano XT 1x11 rear shifter
- Sram XO carbon integrated crankset
- Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes
- Easton riserbar
- Shimano XT Ice-Tech rotors (not the Hope rotors pictured)
- Pedals not included

Look 596 I-Pack

This is a 58cm 2010 Look 596 in excellent condition.  Unlike the 796, the 596 frameset was still manufactured in France. This model was engineered by Renault / Alain Prost Formula 1 Team, who won 4 championships.   As such, they are highly coveted.

Size is 58cm.  Fits rider 5’11’’ up to about 6'1". I am a 32’’ waist and 5’11’’ height for your reference (my road bike is a 58cm Pinarello Dogma).  This frameset is in excellent condition with very small and minor paint chips and scratches that won't affect the performance. The frameset is super lightweight and aerodynamic. MSRP $5,000 for the frameset alone.

Here's some spec's about the frame: https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/SearchListingDetail.aspx?id=3037034&make=701&model=69635

I'm offering it with an option on wheels: either Zipp 404 carbon tubulars or HED carbon clinchers.  One of the tubular tires doesn't hold air more than a few hours; I've had this issue before with tubulars and have found that injecting either Stans or green goo helps to seal up the issue.

The highlights:

- Frame: Original carbon LOOK 596. Size 58cm (Large)

- Fork: Original carbon LOOK 596

- Wheels: Zipp 404 carbon tubulars OR HED carbon clinchers

- Crank: ZED carbon

- Stem: Original integrated carbon LOOK 596

- Seatpost: Original carbon LOOK 596 aero e-post (cover missing, doesn't affect performance)

- Handlebar / aerobar: Profile Design carbon w/ extensions

- Shifters: Carbon SRAM Red. 10-speed

- Brake levers: Carbon SRAM Red

- Brakeset: Black SRAM Rival

- Front / rear derailleurs: Black SRAM Rival

- Pedals: Look

Orbea Occam TR

This is a loaded, top-of-the-line 19" (Large) 2017 Orbea Occam TR carbon. This has been built up with high-end stuff throughout, as you can see by the ENVE AM carbon wheels (on Industry 9 Torch hubs...); a Pike 160 RCT3 Solo Air, a Cane Creek Inline rear shock, Race Face Turbine 1x crank with ovalized Wolf 28t ring, Shimano XT 1x11 drivetrain, XT brakes, Sram 42t rear cassette, a KS 125mm dropper, and more.  The only blemish to note is some carbon bubbling on the rear hoop; the rim has had these bubbles for the past two years and it's never affected the ride quality nor the ability to run tubeless.

The highlights:

- 17.5" (M) 2015 Knolly Warden aluminum frame
- Rock Shox Pike RCT3 160 Solo Air fork
- Double Barrel Inline rear shock
- ENVE AM carbon hoops on Industry 9 Torch hubs
- Shimano XT 11-speed rear derailleur / rear shifter
- Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes
- Race Face Turbine 1x crankset
- Shimano XT Ice-Tech rotors
- Sram GX 11-speed XD cassette
- Chromag riserbar / stem
- KS Lev 125mm dropper
- Crank Brothers pedals

Specialized Camber Pro Carbon

This is a 17" (Medium) 2012 Specialized Camber Pro Carbon 29er that I've built up as a 27.5" with 2.5" tires.  It has Shimano XTR 27.5" carbon wheels; overall great shape.  The frame is solid, no dents or cracks.  Wheels have a few small dents in the side wall, but still run tubeless just fine.  Brakes are bled, drivetrain is tuned.  The fork and shock both could use an overhaul (compression needs to be tuned).

Lapierre Zesty AM 927 Carbon

This is a solid, stupid-lightweight 2014 carbon Lapierre Zesty AM 927 that's been custom-built from the ground up.  This has a BRAND-NEW, NEVER-USED Sram Eagle XX1 DUB carbon crankset (these things are $600).  So that right there boosts the value.  From there, it has a Pike 160 RCT3 Dual-Position, a Monarch RCT3 Debonair, Sram Guide RSC brakes, Shimano XTR carbon wheels, an XO1 1x11 drivetrain, and the list goes on.  The frame is pretty much mint; the parts have varying degrees of wear and tear.  The only caveat is that the Reverb needs a rebuild -- it DOES NOT CURRENTLY FUNCTION.

The Bluebook value: https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/SearchListingDetail.aspx?id=3054500&make=1083&model=79540

The highlights:

- 19" (Large) Lapierre Zesty AM 927 carbon frame

Cannondale Scalpel Team

This is my trusty customized Scalpel that I hand-pieced together with the finest unique 26" stuff that, well, is hard to find. That fork up front, for example: a Maverick SC32. Not exactly your standard Fox Float. Then there's the wheels; prototype Reynolds carbons. I purchased the wheels and fork from the engineer who designed the Reynolds in Utah (used to live there) -- he also designed Maverick frames in Colorado, hence the combo.
Yes, this has 26" wheels. But the quality of the build is above and beyond a lot of the modern stuff that you take for granted these days. The value of this bike is all about the add-ons; Bike Bluebook won't do this justice.
The highlights:
- 18" (Medium) Cannondale Scalpel aluminum frame
- Fox Float RLC rear shock
- Maverick SC32 front fork
- Reynolds Carbon 26" wheels
- Shimano XTR front / rear derailleurs
- Shimano XTR titanium cassette
- Shimano XT rear / Sram XO front shifters (2x9)
- Race Face Six C carbon 2x crankset
- Shimano XTR hydraulic disc brakes
- Thomson dropper post
- Hope stem
- ENVE carbon riserbar
- New DH flats included
